A kid is seen in the next scene of Chandragupta Maurya Show named Chandragupta aka Chandu. There was a race with his friends. The race is won by him as always. We watched a great love and affection between Chandragupta and Moora (Chandragupta’s mother) also.

Moora’s brother is captured by the army due to unpaid tax. This time, Chandragupta saves him selling himself by a man. Now, he becomes a slave.

History of Chandragupta Maurya:

Chandragupta Maurya was born on 340 BCE. He was the founder of Maurya Empire and ruled from 320 BCE to 298 BCE. He was crowned as a King at Taxila. He is considered the first unifier of India. Chandragupta Maurya defeated Magadha kings with the help of Chanakya. Dhana Nanda was the sick ruler of Nanda Empire that time.

Chandragupta was trained under the guidance of Chanakya. They planned together and destroy the Nanda dynasty. Chandragupta was the founder of the powerful Maurya Empire in just 20 years.

Chanakya was a teacher in Takṣaśila. He has been referred as the Indian Machiavelli. He has done great job in the field of economics and political science.

Magadh was the kingdom of Maurya Empire which further extended in the Indo-Gangetic plains (modern Bihar, eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bengal). Pataliputra (modern Patna) was the capital of Magadh.
