First time, COLORS is donning the Gujarati Culture through Mukti Bandhan for its viewers. The story has been adapted from Shri Harkishen Mehta's famous Gujrati novel, 'Mukti Bandhan'.

First episode of Mukti Bandhan begins with a life story of Ishwarlal Motilal Virani. He tells his life story in very short.
In the next scene, we watched the biggest house of Virani where his father and mother are very compatible with each other. They feel very alone in the big house.
We watched the biggest business man – I. M. Virani in the next scene with his sons. They are going to deal a business. His elder son is like her father. He has very finest sense of business.
Charulata is seen in Anand Ashram which is run by her. She meets Devki there who has returned from London completing her study. Currently, she is working for a rival company of I. M. Virani.
